I am going to the Padre Pio Canonization in June. While I am there I would like to visit the Church of the Suffering Souls and the Holy Souls Museum in Rome. I would like to do all of this for the Holy Souls since it was Padre Pio that got me started praying for the Holy Souls. I think he would like for me to do it. Mary Lou, 5/3/02

My daughter and I will be spending a week at Catholic Familyland , this summer,and I will donate my week there to the Holy Souls. It is actually a combination pigrimage and family vacation, but families are just immersed in Truth and Grace the whole time we are there. Anyway, I thought I would just put all of those Holy Souls in my heart and mind, as "The Holy Souls", and offer up everything for them. T he FamilyFest will be from June 29th until July 5th. I will offer up all of my Spiritual and Temporal preparations, and the drive up and back and the whole trip for the Holy Souls. Joan, 5/3/02

I am not able to go on pilgrimmage, but would like to offer to the Immaculate Heart of Mary any good works or indulgences that I can gain on Padre Pio's canonization day for the Holy Souls, and especially for the Protestant Souls who have nobody to pray for them, as they do not believe in Purgatory. I live in the wilderness of North West Montana. Fishing season begins within a week of June 16th. I will be driving 2,500 miles across country on Monday from Maryland back to Yaak -- I would like to use those three days of driving as a pilgrimage -- and I will be driving back to Michigan the last week in May and then back to Yaak -- would like to dedicate all my driving days to the holy souls. Today I have said 50 Requiems for the Poor Souls and the chaplet of Christina Gallagher for the Poor Souls.. making 100 prayers for the Poor Souls. I will try to do this each day. I also promised the Holy Souls 150 Hail Marys and some litle penance each day till I die, as well as all the indulgences I will ever earn during life or after death..although I might sometimes fall short of the target of 150 .. but I will try my best .. such a promise is never taken under pain of sin .. I've had a devotion to the holy souls since a child. I say rosary's or decades for the holy souls as I run errands in the car. They get me up in time for the day even when I have never heard the alarm clock and could sleep through an earthquake. I just say a prayer at bed time and they get me up in time for the day. They also helped me give birth to all ten of my children. When I went back to college a few years ago ..they kept me safe through all kinds of traffic and weather...They have been a comfort all my life.Kay, 5/4/02

Last week, My wife passed away, a beautiful soul after receiving Holy Viaticum. I will say a Franciscan Crown (Rosary of the Seven Joys of the Blessed Virgin) for her Soul and for all souls for one month. Also I will say 100 Requiems for the poor souls within two days. Patrick, 5/5/02

I want to offer up my rosaries for the whole week of June 16th for the holy souls. I also want to offer up my masses during that week. Then for the rest of my life, whenever i say extra rosaries, or prayers, each day i will continue to mention the souls of the departed, just as i have always done. god bless. grace 5/7/02

+++I will not be going on any pilgrimage's near or far in the near future.+++ But I would like to make a dedication to the Holy Souls in Purgatory.+++ I would like to offer up to the Lord, and dedicate all of the Holy Masses that I have celebrated in the past, or will celebrate in the future.+++ Also I would like to dedicate all of the hours of Eucharist Adoration, past, present and future that I partook in or will partake in.+++ Plus I offer up, and dedicate any indulgences that I have acquired in the past, or will acquire in the future, I lift up to God, and dedicate all the good that I have done in my life, or will do in the future, and all of the sufferings that I have experienced, or will experience in the future, for the Holy Souls in Purgatory.+++ Finally, I dedicate an upcoming 9 day fasting and Novena that I shall be doing, for the deliverance of the Holy Souls in Purgatory.+++ I dedicate this to all of the Holy Souls, but first to those who were the closest to me and that I loved in my life, (relatives, friends and aquantience,) and then for the Holy Souls that have no one to pray for them, and those who are especially in the greatest need.+++ Eternal rest grant unto them O Lord and let perpetual light shine upon them and may they rest in peace. +++Amen And Amen+++ JMJ +++ Sandy +5/09/2002+
I dedicate for all of the Holy souls, the merits of all of the Rosary's, Divine Chaplets, and prayers, that I have said in the past or will say in the future for the rest of my life. I guess to put it in a nut shell, I will dedicate everything, even the air that I breathe daily, and every heart beat that beats in my body for the Holy Souls in Purgatory. I'd like to offer the prayers Our Lady has asked us to pray for the Poor Souls : 5 I believe in God. 1 Hail Mary, 1 Our Father, 1 Glory Be to the Father, and 1 requiem every day as I walk to the mail box. I am a senior and often walk my dog through an old cemetry. I pray as I walk and ask mercy for any of the souls of those in the cemetry who are still in purgatory. I sometimes pray for the one closest to being released, the one farthest away and the soul who has no one to pray fot them. Other times I just send the prayers to Mother Mary and ask her to offer them as she sees fit. Mary 5/25/02

Our youth group of 700 have been praying for the holy souls lost on 9-11. The students have soul mates (among the victims) with bios and they pray for their holy souls. We are praying for them as we travel to or near the sites on the East coast this summer on our way to World Youth Day 2002 in Toronto, Canada. Being from California praying at the areas of the wounding of the United States we pray blessings and Gods mercy on this great cross country pilgrimage for souls. I will offer up the waiting that I have to endure for the Holy Souls: I am engaged, & my Protestant fiance' is waiting for his annulment to go through the Catholic diocese of Richmond, VA. The priest says it may take 12-18 months. Also, we have to renovate his home so that I could move in after our marriage. This is a trial for me, however, I will offer this up for the Holy Souls.
